In this role, you will lead high-impact design initiatives aimed at enhancing user engagement and driving growth for digital products. You will craft intuitive, elegant, and measurable user experiences, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and UX researchers. The position requires balancing creativity with data-driven decision-making to define zero-to-one user journeys and design intelligent monetization flows. You will mentor junior designers, shape the design roadmap, and influence cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and innovative solutions. This role offers the opportunity to push the boundaries of writing and communications tools while contributing strategically to product success. Accountabilities
- Lead the design of new features and user experiences, from ideation to execution
- Create intuitive and cohesive UI/UX solutions that delight users and drive engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, writers, and brand specialists
- Partner with UX researchers to inform design decisions and advocate for the user at all stages
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
- Experiment with new design approaches and push the boundaries of writing and communications tools
Requirements
- Professional training and degree in UX or Product Design
- 8+ years of experience in product design, with at least 4 years as a lead or senior designer
- Expertise in designing for web, desktop, and mobile platforms
- Skilled prototyping abilities and experience with design systems
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Passion for writing and understanding how technology empowers creativity
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); fluency in German or Dutch is a bonus
