Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and post-treatment care
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid or life support when required
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient care areas

Required Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (GNM/B.Sc Nursing)
Valid nursing registration/license (as per regional regulatory authority, e.g., State Nursing Council)
