Job Description – Surgeon (Healing Hands Clinic Specific)
Position: Full-Time Surgeon

Role Purpose
To manage OPD consultations, perform proctology and general surgical procedures, drive clinical excellence, and contribute to the growth of the center through high-quality patient care and ethical practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical & Surgical
- Diagnose and treat patients with anorectal, colorectal, laparoscopic, and related surgical conditions.
- Perform surgeries such as piles, fissure, fistula, hernia, pilonidal sinus, circumcision, and other day-care/general surgical procedures as per competency.
- Ensure proper pre-operative evaluation, informed consent, and post-operative follow-up.
- Maintain high standards of infection control, documentation, and patient safety.
- Handle emergencies and complications with sound clinical judgment.
OPD & Patient Experience
- Conduct daily consultations and convert suitable patients into treatment plans ethically.
- Counsel patients confidently regarding condition, treatment options, costs, and recovery timelines.
- Build trust, reassure anxious patients, and maintain high patient satisfaction scores.
- Ensure timely follow-up of pending surgical cases and review patients.
Business & Growth
- Support branch revenue targets through ethical case conversions and consistent surgical volumes.
- Build referral relationships with local doctors, corporates, and influencers where required.
- Participate in health camps, awareness talks, digital content, and brand-building initiatives.
- Contribute to expansion of new specialties/services at the center.
Team & Operations
- Work closely with OT staff, nursing, front office, counselors, and management.
- Ensure discipline, punctuality, and availability as per roster/business needs.
- Guide junior doctors / assistant doctors on patient management protocols.
