What you will do:
- Lead New Product development for Medical device Industry
- Lead DFI strategies.
- Perform in-depth DFM, DFI, and DFA reviews
- Process automation
- Apply strong GD&T knowledge and DFI for First time right product.
- Contribute in PPAP activity & Design Transfer
- Contribute to compliant, scalable, and high-quality manufacturing processes
- Create NPI development, PPAP, DFI and validation Strategies
What you will need:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & 8+ years of work experienceStrong Lead New Product development for Medical device Industry
- Strong experience in DFI.
- Ability to think out of the box and challenge status quo for process optimization.
- Exposure to sophisticated inspection equipment in medical device development
- A proactive, risk-based mindset with hands-on process development experience
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced innovation environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong technical ability to develop and optimize designs for mechanical / electro-mechanical assemblies incorporating DFM principles
- Strong technical ability in creating engineering drawings, models, applying GD&T and CAE tool
- Adept at applying knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes to product design
- Ability to communicate moderate complexity plans and technical information to team members
