As a Junior Consultant in the Digital Banking team, you'll play a key role in the development, implementation, and support of Oracle's next-generation banking solutions. This role is ideal for early-career professionals eager to apply their technical skills and banking domain knowledge in a dynamic, client-facing environment. You'll collaborate with global teams, ensuring quality deliveries and supporting the transformation of banking for Oracle's European clients.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
1-4 years of experience in development, implementation, or support of banking applications, with at least 1 year in core skills.
Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Microservices (including Spring Boot), JavaScript, XML.
Familiarity with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle Database (18c or 12c).
Experience with software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Servers, especially Oracle Weblogic.
Excellent English communication and documentation skills.
Working knowledge of release management and source control tools.
Willingness to travel and work at client locations or offshore, plus rotating shift flexibility.
Experience with Digital Banking products and awareness of banking terminologies/concepts.
Exposure to software development best practices, Agile/DevOps methodologies, testing tools, and SaaS/cloud deployments.
Familiarity with Oracle OBIEE Reports, BIP, or Oracle Fusion SOA Suite.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
Client-facing and presentation abilities.
Team-oriented mindset and ability to work well in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
Willingness to pursue Oracle Banking/FLEXCUBE technical certifications as required.

Analyze business requirements and assist in designing effective solutions.
Develop and unit-test code as per specifications within scheduled timelines.
Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams, supporting integration, testing, and issue resolution.
Document work and comply with quality, change control, and audit requirements.
Engage in release management and source control, tracking and resolving application issues.
Produce timely status reports, and ensure all assignments and knowledge transfers are completed effectively.
Submit accurate timesheets and expenses in line with Oracle/client guidelines.
