Position Description
PAR is looking for a Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Administrator to join the team. PAR is an international, fast-paced, high-growth environment, and our technology stack is cloud- and SaaS-first with minimal on-prem footprint. The Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Administrator is a critical member of the team who helps maximize the value of the Salesforce platform by configuring, optimizing, and governing scalable Service Cloud solutions that support customer service and support operations. Working closely with Product Management, business stakeholders, Salesforce Developers, QA, DevOps Engineers, and integration teams, you will contribute to solution discovery, configuration, and delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
This role focuses on hands-on administration and configuration across Salesforce Service Cloud, ensuring secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions aligned with PAR's technology standards, security requirements, and compliance needs.

What We're Looking For
- Partner with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Service Cloud configurations
- Configure, enhance, and maintain Salesforce Service Cloud functionality using declarative tools such as Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, validation rules, and dynamic layouts
- Administer and optimize Service Cloud features including:
- Case management, queues, and Omni-Channel routing
- Knowledge management and article lifecycle
- Service Console and agent productivity tools
- Customer portals / Experience Cloud
- Manage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and access controls related to Service Cloud
- Support and coordinate integrations with internal and external systems in partnership with development and integration teams
- Ensure configurations comply with security, compliance, and data governance standards
- Monitor system health, performance, data integrity, and user adoption
- Perform proactive system maintenance including release updates, security reviews, health checks, and optimizer recommendations
- Analyze existing Service Cloud configurations and recommend improvements for usability, scalability, and technical debt reduction
- Support data management activities including data loads, imports, updates, and synchronization
- Collaborate with Salesforce Developers and QA to support testing, deployment, and post-release validation
- Participate in release planning, environment coordination, and post-release support
- Evaluate new Salesforce Service Cloud features and platform enhancements for business value
- Promote reuse, automation, and low-code/no-code best practices across the platform
- Maintain platform documentation, standards, and operational runbooks

Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce, with strong hands-on administration experience in Service Cloud
- Deep functional knowledge of Service Cloud including Case Management, Knowledge, Omni-Channel, and customer service portals
- Extensive experience with Salesforce configuration and automation tools (Flows, validation rules, assignment rules, approvals)
- Experience managing Salesforce security and access models (profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing)
- Experience working within a formal Salesforce Application Lifecycle Management environment (Dev / QA / UAT / Prod)
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Experience with Experience Cloud (Customer or Partner Portals)
- Experience using Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools such as Gearset
- Experience working in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment
- Exposure to Commerce Cloud or cross-cloud integrations
- Experience supporting systems during M&A or large-scale platform changes
