Position Description
PAR is looking for a Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Developer to join the team. The Senior Salesforce Service Cloud Developer is a critical member of the team who helps maximize the value of the Salesforce platform by designing, building, and enhancing scalable Service Cloud solutions that support customer service and support operations. Working closely with Product Management, business stakeholders, Salesforce Admins, QA, DevOps Engineer, and integration teams, you will contribute to solution discovery, development, and delivery in an Agile/Scrum environment.
This role focuses on hands-on development across Salesforce Service Cloud, ensuring secure, high-performing, and maintainable solutions aligned with PAR's technology standards, security requirements, and compliance needs.

What We're Looking For
- Work with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Service Cloud solutions
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce Service Cloud functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and declarative configuration
- Build and customize Service Cloud features including:
- Case management and omni-channel routing
- Knowledge management
- Service Console and agent productivity tools
- Customer portals / Experience Cloud
- Develop and support integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-based patterns
- Write clean, efficient, and testable Apex and Lightning code following Salesforce and PAR best practices
- Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure high code coverage and solution quality
- Collaborate with Salesforce Admins and QA to deliver high-quality solutions as part of a Scrum team
- Review technical designs and code, providing guidance to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability
- Ensure configurations and customizations adhere to security, compliance, and data governance standards
- Analyze existing Service Cloud implementations and recommend improvements for performance, usability, and technical debt reduction
- Support data synchronization and integrity across upstream and downstream systems
- Participate in release planning, deployment, and post-release support
- Evaluate new Salesforce Service Cloud features and platform enhancements for business value
- Promote reuse, automation, and low-code/no-code best practices where appropriate

Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technology-related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 4+ years of experience working with Salesforce, with strong hands-on development experience in Service Cloud
- Proven experience developing with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and Salesforce APIs
- Strong functional knowledge of Service Cloud including Case Management, Knowledge, Omni-Channel, and customer service portals
- Experience working within a formal Salesforce Application Lifecycle Management environment (Dev / QA / UAT / Prod)
Nice to Have
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Experience with Experience Cloud (Customer or Partner Portals)
- Experience using Salesforce DevOps and deployment tools such as Gearset
- Experience working in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment
- Exposure to Commerce Cloud or cross-cloud integrations
- Experience supporting systems during M&A or large-scale platform changes
