About JRD Composite Products:

JRD Composite is a leading manufacturer and innovator in GFRP Rebars and Composite Products, delivering advanced, corrosion-resistant, and high-performance reinforcement solutions for infrastructure, construction, and industrial applications across domestic and international markets.

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Professional with strong exposure to Government & Infrastructure Projects to drive strategic growth and expand our presence across key government agencies and large-scale infrastructure developments.

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager – Business Development (Government Projects) will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with Government Authorities, Consultants, EPC Contractors, and Infrastructure Bodies to drive adoption of GFRP Rebars and Composite Products in major public sector projects.

The ideal candidate should have 10–12 years of experience in dealing with government departments such as DMRC, NHAI, PWD, Railways, Metro Projects, Smart City Projects, etc. along with a Civil Engineering background.

Key Responsibilities:

Government Business Development:

  • Identify and develop business opportunities with Government Departments & Authorities
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders including:
  • DMRC / Metro Rail Corporations
  • NHAI
  • CPWD / PWD
  • Indian Railways
  • Smart City Projects
  • State Infrastructure Development Authorities
  • Municipal Corporations
  • Drive product approvals, vendor registrations, and technical acceptance

Project Development:

  • Track upcoming government tenders and infrastructure projects
  • Work closely with consultants, project management firms, and contractors
  • Promote GFRP Rebars & Composite Products as alternatives to traditional reinforcement
  • Drive specification inclusion in project BOQs and DPRs

Market Expansion

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate Government Infrastructure Segment
  • Identify large infrastructure opportunities including:
  • Bridges & Highways
  • Metro Projects
  • Tunnels
  • Marine Structures
  • Smart Cities
  • Industrial Infrastructure

Tender and Documentation:

  • Participate in tender evaluation and submission process
  • Manage pre-qualification documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams for pricing and commercial proposals

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
  • MBA (Preferred but not mandatory)
  • 10–12+ years of experience in Government Project Business Development
  • Strong exposure to Infrastructure / Construction / Civil Materials / Engineering Products
  • Experience working with Government Authorities & PSU Clients
