Job Description

Job Title: Sr. HR Representative

Function: Human Resources

Location: Pune

Employment Type: Full‑time

Job Summary

The HR Representative will manage HR operations with a strong focus on labour law compliance, industrial relations (IR), employee contracts, and contingent workforce management. This role partners closely with plant leadership, vendors, and central HR to ensure statutory compliance, workforce stability, and effective employee relations.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Labour Law

  • Ensure adherence to Indian labour laws and statutory compliances applicable to plant operations.
  • Manage statutory audits, inspections, notices, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain statutory registers and coordinate filings with external consultants.

Industrial Relations

  • Handle day‑to‑day industrial relations at the plant, including grievances and disciplinary matters.
  • Support union interactions, domestic enquiries, and settlements.
  • Promote a positive and compliant employee relations environment.

Contingent Workforce Management

  • Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of contract labour and contingent workforce.
  • Coordinate with staffing vendors and ensure compliance with labour, safety, and insurance norms.
  • Monitor documentation, renewals, and audits related to contract labour.

Employee Contracts & HR Operations

  • Prepare and manage employee contracts, extensions, amendments, and exits.
  • Ensure accurate HR documentation, confidentiality, and record management.
  • Support onboarding and employee lifecycle activities at the plant.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Manage HR processes through Blue Tree or similar HR systems.
  • Ensure accurate data entry, tracking, and reporting.
  • Support internal audits and HR metrics reporting.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance
  • Hands‑on experience in Plant IR and union handling
  • Contingent workforce / contractor management
  • HR documentation and contract management
  • HR systems knowledge (Blue Tree preferred)
  • Stakeholder and vendor management skills

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in Human Resources, IR, or Labour Welfare
  • 7–8 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing / plant setup
  • Mandatory experience in labour compliance and contract labour management
