Job Description

Role Overview:

As the Sr. Director of Recruitment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that TaskUs is attracting, hiring, and retaining the best talent to help the company achieve its ambitious strategic goals. You will oversee and lead the recruitment function, ensuring the company's recruitment practices are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with business growth. Your focus will be on providing leadership, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving improvements in recruitment processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Strategy and Management:

  • Drive the BPO recruitment cycle and support recruitment for all centers in the Philippines.
  • Partner with hiring managers and site directors to develop and refine recruitment strategies for the business.
  • Ensure that the recruitment technology systems are functioning properly and that internal processes are effective and adhered to.
  • Provide market analysis, compensation benchmarks, and implement accurate forecasting pipeline management to improve the talent acquisition lifecycle.
  • Develop custom recruitment strategies for new site openings, including team structure, assessments, and employer branding initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the recruitment team, ensuring performance expectations are met and career growth is supported.
  • Conduct quarterly performance appraisals and manage attendance, compensation, and overall team development.
  • Plan and manage the annual budget for the recruitment function.
  • Hold weekly team meetings to review progress, identify challenges, and align on goals.
  • Ensure consistent training and coaching for the team to maintain high recruiting standards.

Sourcing Strategy and Employer Branding:

  • Partner with corporate marketing to develop and implement employer branding strategies, leveraging digital recruitment efforts and social media.
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies, partnering with new vendors, using creative events, and optimizing the applicant flow.
  • Refine recruitment processes to support an excellent candidate experience and ensure hiring manager efficiencies.
  • Support diversity initiatives within the recruitment pipeline, ensuring a balanced and inclusive hiring process.

Account Acquisition and Client Partnership:

  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for prospective clients, developing custom recruitment strategies and providing on-site presentations as needed.
  • Create recruitment strategies for new site openings, including hiring team structuring, job board/career page creation, and assessments.
  • Serve as the client-facing recruitment lead, ensuring the company's recruitment efforts are aligned with client needs and expectations.

Do You Have What It Takes

Requirements:

  • Expertise in people management and employee development, with a proven track record in leading and creating efficient recruitment processes and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with a passion for metrics and optimizing recruitment pipelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with high emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on high-volume recruiting, strategic staffing, executive recruiting, and university relations.
  • A strong business acumen, ability to lead change initiatives, and excellent negotiation and process orientation skills.
  • Experience using an Automated Tracking System (ATS) extensively.
  • Experience in high-growth environments is highly preferred, ideally in a BPO or tech company.
  • Open to travel up to 30% of the time.
  • Ability to work with high attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills.
