Role Description

The Sr. Counselor - Student Visa and Immigration will be responsible for guiding students through the process of applying for international education and handling visa and immigration procedures. Key tasks include consulting with clients, assessing individual profiles, answering inquiries, preparing and reviewing documentation, and coordinating with international institutions. The role requires the ability to stay updated with visa regulations and immigration policies. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Gujarat Univerisry Area, Ahmedabad.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in handling documentation, reviewing forms, and preparing applications for visa and immigration processing.
  • Knowledge of visa and immigration policies, particularly for countries such as Canada, USA, Australia, and the UK.
  • Experience in client management, relationship building, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English is required; other language skills are an asset.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and software used for processing applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field; additional certifications or training in counseling, immigration, or education consultancy are advantageous.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the education or immigration industry.
