Position Summary

This role is a Sr. Business Analyst, SAP in our Global Product Development group supporting the EMEA (Europe Middle East & Africa) region but based in India. The primary responsibility for this role is to ensure that our customers SAP systems are kept compliant with the various legal requirements published by agencies and governments globally. This is a functional Business Analyst role which combines in-depth product expertise with the latest tax and regulatory changes to produce system impact specifications and test strategies for Development & QA. The position will follow each tax and regulatory change from discovery through successful translation into an application update. This role is vital in providing high quality deliverables to our clients and keeping their mission critical enterprise applications in compliance.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Experience and in-depth functional knowledge in SAP FI and CO modules (10 years) - General Ledger (GL) including Tax setups, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cost and Profit Centre Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders & integration experience with Logistic modules such as Sales & Distribution, Material Management & Production Planning.
• Ideally have experience working with Electronic Invoicing in EMEA, SAF-T reporting and other legislative country specific requirements
• Whilst primarily a functional role, an understanding of SAP technology and tables would be advantageous to aid the development of requirements with the Development teams
• Configuration of SAP FI CO modules according to business requirements
• Ability to look for improvement opportunities in the system
• Ability to articulate business requirements clearly and concisely and translating them into Agile user stories
• Ability to work within the Agile framework acting as Product Owner on all key SAP Financial legislative changes
• Ensure total product compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations through the analysis of each tax and legislative change
• Organization and communication of such information, clearly disclosing the details needed for product specialists and subscribing clients to make necessary system changes when necessary
• Work collaboratively with the QA and development teams to ensure user stories and tasks are clearly understood and requirements are being satisfied
• Assist with the formulation of test strategies, review test plans, and perform system tests, working with the QA team to ensure high quality deliverables
• Communicate effectively across various teams, internal and external customers
