Execute programming tasks for assigned projects, staying within budgeted hours and schedule while meeting required quality standards
Provide recommendations for improving software/programs, service support, and testing activities to enhance the competitiveness of UOP PIC products
Support the maintenance and development of systems (ISO-9001) and team resources (coaching & training) to enable effective technology transfer to the marketplace
Identify and execute opportunities for continuous improvement in work processes and productivity, optimizing project deliverables through efficient methods, systems, and tools
Configure/network PCs, Virtual Machines (VMs), and control system hardware for simulation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting
Provide regular status reports on assigned projects and tasks
Typical Tasks:
Customize and/or develop software architecture and logic (coding in multiple languages), and operator interface applications
Support or perform integration, testing, verification, and validation of control system solutions
Convert functional specifications or process control ideas into software
Create or improve master programs and feature definitions
You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, or Computer) or Computer Science
7+ years of experience in control systems software development and customization
We Value:
Experience with UOP PIC control system product lines such as PSA, ACCS, DRCS, CRCS
Experience in developing/customizing control systems software for batch or continuous process applications in refining and/or petrochemicals industries

Ability to read and understand control panel electrical schematics, including components like power supplies, breakers, relays, and analog/digital wire loops
Familiarity with software development lifecycles, configuration management, and change management practices
Strong organizational, troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
