Position :- Sr. Accountant
Job Location - Ahmedabad
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor revenue streams such as freight charges, leasing, and logistics services.
Track expenses related to fuel, maintenance, tolls, and fleet operations.
Budgeting & Forecasting
Develop budgets aligned with operational goals.
Forecast cash flow requirements for fleet expansion, repairs, and fuel costs.
Provide variance analysis and recommendations to management.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and transportation regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Maintain accurate tax records, including GST and other statutory filings.
Cost Control
Identify cost-saving opportunities in logistics and supply chain operations.
Monitor vendor contracts and payment schedules.
Implement internal controls to prevent financial leakage.
Team Leadership
Supervise junior accountants and finance staff.
Provide training on accounting systems and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with operations and logistics teams for financial plann
Strong knowledge of accounting processes, GST, TDS, invoicing, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
Ability to handle day-to-day accounts and coordinate with billing, operations, and management
Experience in finalization of accounts and audit suppor
Good communication and coordination skills
