We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant who can independently manage the company's financial records, compliance, and reporting.

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant for the organization. The role requires strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, and accounting systems. The candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end accounting operations independently and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.
  • Maintain financial documentation and records.

2. GST & Tax Compliance

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time.
  • Manage GST reconciliation and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
  • Coordinate with consultants for Income Tax filings and audits.
  • Maintain records for statutory compliance.

3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance

  • Process employee payroll in coordination with HR.
  • Manage TDS calculations and filings.
  • Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions if applicable.
  • Maintain payroll records and statutory registers.

4. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS reports, and management reports.
  • Assist management with financial analysis and cost tracking.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain financial discipline.

5. Audit & Compliance

  • Prepare financial records for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with CA, auditors, and tax consultants when required.

6. Process Improvement

  • Establish and maintain proper accounting processes and documentation.
  • Ensure financial controls are followed within the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
  • 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably handling accounts independently.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience handling end-to-end accounting operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of payroll systems and HRMS integration.
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple departments (HR, operations, management).
