We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant who can independently manage the company's financial records, compliance, and reporting.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant for the organization. The role requires strong expertise in financial management, statutory compliance, taxation, and accounting systems. The candidate should be capable of handling end-to-end accounting operations independently and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records and books of accounts.
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliations.
- Maintain financial documentation and records.
2. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) accurately and on time.
- Manage GST reconciliation and ensure compliance with GST regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants for Income Tax filings and audits.
- Maintain records for statutory compliance.
3. Payroll & Statutory Compliance
- Process employee payroll in coordination with HR.
- Manage TDS calculations and filings.
- Ensure compliance with PF, ESI, and other statutory deductions if applicable.
- Maintain payroll records and statutory registers.
4. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Assist management with financial analysis and cost tracking.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain financial discipline.
5. Audit & Compliance
- Prepare financial records for internal and external audits.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with CA, auditors, and tax consultants when required.
6. Process Improvement
- Establish and maintain proper accounting processes and documentation.
- Ensure financial controls are followed within the organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
- 8+ years of accounting experience, preferably handling accounts independently.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation laws.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Experience handling end-to-end accounting operations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of payroll systems and HRMS integration.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments (HR, operations, management).
