Job Summary
We are hiring a
Sr. Accountant (Income Tax) to manage taxation and accounting operations for a reputed agro-chemical manufacturing company in Raipur. The role requires strong expertise in
income tax compliance, return filing, and statutory reporting, along with proficiency in
Tally ERP for day-to-day accounting. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial documentation, timely tax submissions, and support audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally ERP software
- Ensure accurate calculation and filing of income tax returns (ITR)
- Handle TDS, advance tax, and other direct tax compliances
- Prepare and reconcile financial statements, ledgers, and MIS reports
- Maintain records for taxation, audits, and statutory compliance
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities for tax matters
- Support budgeting, cost control, and financial planning activities
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and timeliness in financial documentation
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA (Inter) qualification (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with specialization in income tax
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS-Office (Excel, Word)
- Strong knowledge of direct tax laws, TDS, and compliance procedures
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage taxation functions in a manufacturing environment
