Job Description

Honeywell is currently seeking a high-caliber, seasoned professional to serve as the Sr Account Manager. This role is responsible for defining, driving, and growing the channel ecosystem and strategic key accounts for the HGAS Business across the PAN India Region.

Scope and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver sales results through company's channel ecosystem, measured by revenue and demand generation.
  • Manage direct key accounts within the assigned region, ensuring growth and strategic alignment.
  • Work in collaboration with leaders from sales, marketing, offering management, and other functions to strengthen the channel ecosystem and increase Honeywell's wallet share.
  • Manage channel partners capabilities, coverage, and compensation models across all verticals.
  • Work closely with sales leaders to develop strategic account plans.
  • Establish plans to achieve financial targets for both account and channel organizations.
  • Develop a tier-based channel ecosystem for improved partner engagement.
  • Utilize CRM tools like SFDC to manage OEM and channel business processes.
  • Ensure optimum distribution and channel inventory levels are maintained.
  • Demonstrate strong cross-functional leadership by fostering collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing to define strategic direction and enable growth within strategic accounts.
  • Drive sales campaigns, lead pricing discussions, and ensure timely product fulfillment.
  • Manage potential account concerns by promoting clear communication and strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Ensure partner compliance with all relevant partner agreements and Honeywell standards.

Education Qualifications & Other Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Engineering or a related discipline (mandatory).
  • MBA from a premier B-School (preferred).
  • Experience in the South Region with a background in Instrumentation (preferred).
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in distribution and channel management in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and shifting priorities, making sound decisions across cross-functional and international teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce (SFDC) tools (preferred).
