Summary:
We are seeking a skilled professional to conduct comprehensive accessibility testing and performance analysis for web and mobile platforms. The role involves ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and optimizing performance metrics using various tools and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform web content and mobile accessibility validations against WCAG 2.1/2.2 level AA standards.
- Collaborate with development and design teams to make recommendations to meet accessibility guidelines and provide remediation steps when not compliant.
- Collaborate with Developers and Product Owners to understand accessibility requirements and implementation details to develop detailed accessibility test plans and strategies.
- Conduct defect triage meetings with project stakeholders and suggest potential solutions for accessibility barriers.
- Develop comprehensive accessibility compliance test reports for web and mobile platforms.
Requirements:
- Should possess certifications like IAAP – WAS, CPACC, Trusted Tester Web.
Required Skills:
- Advanced JMeter skills (Groovy/JSR223/Web HTTP/Selenium Web Driver).
- Monitoring experience and building dashboards in AppDynamics, Grafana, Kibana.
- Experience working with AWS cloud monitoring (Cloudwatch).
- Experience in client-side performance testing using Lighthouse/Sitespeed.
- In-depth knowledge of the performance testing process.
- Ability to own and complete performance testing projects end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, test design, script development, test executions, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in LoadRunner.
- Programming experience in SQL & Java/Python or any other programming language.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and tools.
- Hands-on experience with assistive technologies like JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.
- Good understanding of various accessibility standards and laws.
- Good knowledge of WAI-ARIA attributes.
- Exposure to various accessibility assessments like wireframe review, component testing, automation testing capabilities, etc.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in creating Sitespeed scripts.
- Experience in creating in-house tools and enhancements.
- Performance engineering experience.
- Experience with other profiling tools.
- Experience with Saucelabs/ThousandEyes.
