Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled
SQL Developer with strong hands-on experience in
advanced SQL programming and database performance optimization. The role involves designing, developing, and tuning database solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application development, reporting, and data management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers
- Perform database performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
- Analyze and troubleshoot database performance issues and bottlenecks
- Interpret and optimize query execution plans
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with standards
- Support reporting needs by creating and optimizing views, materialized views, and datasets
- Work closely with business analysts to translate requirements into data-driven solutions
- Contribute to and follow best practices in database development
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications- 34 years of hands-on SQL development experience
- Strong expertise in RDBMS:
- SQL Server
- Oracle
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- Proven experience in:
- Writing complex SQL queries & stored procedures
- Database performance tuning & optimization
- Indexing, normalization, partitioning, and transactions
- Query execution plan analysis
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in Oracle or enterprise databases
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Job stability is mandatory
- Immediate to short-notice joiners only (015 days)
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with cloud databases:
- AWS RDS
- Azure SQL
- Google Cloud SQL
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Experience with BI / reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Basic knowledge of Python or scripting for automation
