Sql Developer

Responsibilities:

• Individual contributor, hands on development and execution
• Eye for details, adhere to software development guidelines and adopts best practices
• Collaborate and communicate with internal teams/ stakeholders/ customers
• Maintain, optimize existing software/solutions along with any new development
• Responsible for evaluating report requests and determine requestor s needs and objectives
• Identifying correct methodology for extracting data including data sources and criteria
• Ensuring the delivered report is accurate and formatted appropriately
• Work across functional lines to strive for and ensure consistent data quality

Skills Required

• Extensive knowledge/Hands on experience in architecting or designing Datawarehouse/Database, Modelling, building SQL objects such as Tables, Views, User defined/Table valued Functions, Stored Procedures, triggers and indexes
• Hands on experience in building reports and processes using SQL
• Extensive experience in data investigation
• Experience working in support projects using ticketing system (e.g. JIRA)
• Experience working in structured development and process-oriented environmentAdvantageous Skills
• Exposure to SSRS/ Tableau / PowerBI / QlikView
• Exposure to fund accounting systems, custodians/ prime brokers/ fund admins related data
• Experience in the asset management industry preferred

Academic Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent educationo
• At least 5+ years experience
