About The Role
Droisys is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in SQL query development, optimization, and database management, along with hands-on experience in SSIS, SSRS, and C#/.NET technologies. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that support various business operations. The SQL Developer will collaborate closely with application developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data integrity, performance, and security across our systems.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely while supporting clients in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be comfortable working in US Pacific Time (PST) hours to align with project requirements and team collaboration.
Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in SQL development, ETL processes, and .NET application integration. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience. Strong technical skills in SQL Server, including advanced query writing, performance tuning, and database design, are essential. Knowledge of C# and .NET frameworks is required to facilitate seamless integration with application layers. Candidates must demonstrate excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and functions to support business needs.
- Optimize query performance through indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, and tuning techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval.
- Develop, test, and manage SSIS packages for ETL processes, facilitating data integration and transformation activities.
- Create, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with application development teams to integrate database logic with C#/.NET applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Analyze large datasets for accuracy, consistency, and performance, implementing data validation and cleansing procedures as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both production and development environments, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
- Participate in database schema design, data modeling, and schema creation to support new features and system enhancements.
- Support data migration, transformation, and cleansing activities, ensuring smooth transitions and data quality.
- Document technical designs, data flows, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
