SQL Developer – Senior (5+ Years of Experience)

Overview

You will be part of a cross‑functional team of software developers, QA/automation engineers, architects, product owners, project/program managers, UI/UX designers, and subject-matter experts.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a global Agile Scrum environment and is comfortable with iterative development focused on building Minimum Viable Products through rapid prototyping, leading to enterprise‑scale applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop Stored Procedures, Indexed Views, User-Defined Functions, Triggers, Cursors, XML, and Distributed Transactions using SQL Server 2017 or Higher.
• Design and deliver robust technical and functional solutions with thorough testing.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the team.
• Improve system performance by investigating issues, creating specifications, identifying technology trends, and recommending solutions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a SQL Developer working in development and staging environments.
• Excellent T‑SQL development skills, including Stored Procedures, Indexed Views, User‑Defined Functions, Triggers, Cursors, and Distributed Transactions (5+ years).
• Knowledge in SQL Server 2025 is must have.
• Knowledge of data migration and data transfer utilities such as SSIS, Bulk Copy Program (BCP), and Bulk Insert (2+ years).
• Note: SSIS is not mandatory but is a good-to-have skill.
• Strong debugging and performance‑tuning skills.
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, client‑interaction, and coordination abilities.
• Experience working directly with clients.
• Working knowledge of Git and version‑control processes.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong individual‑contributor capabilities.
