About The Role
This is a fully remote work option. We are seeking skilled SQL Developers to join our Text2SQL project team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SQL experience with the ability to understand complex data models and translate business requirements into efficient SQL code that captures business context accurately. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, developing and maintaining SQL queries, and ensuring high-quality data transformations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment, contributing to the success of our clients digital transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess at least 4 years of hands-on SQL development experience. Proficiency in multiple SQL dialects such as Databricks SQL, T-SQL (SQL Server), PL/SQL (Oracle), MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS platforms is essential. Candidates must have a strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modelling, and the ability to interpret complex data models and ERDs. Experience translating business requirements into SQL logic, along with expertise in joins, subqueries, window functions, and data transformation techniques, is required. A solid grasp of data aggregation, data validation, and performance optimization is also necessary for this role.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic to support business needs.
- Analyze and understand existing data models and database schemas to ensure accurate data processing.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented SQL code adhering to best practices and standards.
- Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of SQL implementations.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to team knowledge sharing, and follow established development standards.
- Debug, optimize, and enhance SQL queries for improved performance and efficiency.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
- Support testing activities, troubleshoot data-related issues, and implement necessary fixes.
