Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize database objects using Oracle DB and PostgreSQL
  • Handle Materialized Views, including refresh, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Write and optimize SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL queries, procedures, and functions
  • Support performance tuning activities for reports and batch processes
  • Collaborate with application and reporting teams to support data requirements
  • Assist in production support, root cause analysis, and issue resolution

Required Skills

  • 46 years of strong experience in Oracle DB and PostgreSQL
  • Practical experience handling Materialized Views (refresh, maintenance, troubleshooting)
  • Strong SQL querying and database development skills
  • Experience with stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes
  • Understanding of database performance tuning concepts

Good to Have

  • Experience with reporting or analytics workloads
  • Exposure to database migrations or multi-DB environments
  • Experience in production support environments

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent

  • 4.5-6 Years
