Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist located in Chennai. Key responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating a variety of speech, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals. The Speech Language Pathologist will develop and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide education and support to clients and their families. The role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to rehabilitation.
Qualifications
- Experience in Speech Therapy and Speech-related interventions
- Proficiency in diagnosing and managing Dysphagia
- Knowledge of assessing and treating Communication Disorders
- Expertise in handling Language Disorders effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting functional recovery
- Bachelor degree in speech language pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Licensure or certification as required to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Relevant work experience is an asset
