The institute provides high-quality speech, physical, sensory integration, and occupational therapy, along with early intervention and special education, in a supportive, child-friendly environment. The team uses a child-directed approach that allows children to guide their play, encouraging engagement, confidence, and meaningful progress. By focusing on the whole child, Reviviscence® Rehab supports skills ranging from basic activities of daily living to communication and academic readiness. Families are closely involved in goal setting and progress, with staff providing ongoing communication, encouragement, and education.

Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Speech Language Pathologist role based in padur , Chennai. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat children with speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges in an engaging, play-based clinical setting. Daily responsibilities include conducting standardized and informal evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based speech therapy sessions. The role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation, tracking progress, and adjusting goals in collaboration with families and the multidisciplinary team. The Speech Language Pathologist will also provide caregiver education and home program recommendations to support carryover of skills in everyday environments.

Qualifications

  • Clinical expertise in Speech Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of pediatric speech and language services.
  • Ability to evaluate and treat a range of Speech and Language Disorders, with skill in designing individualized, child-centered interventions.
  • Experience working with Communication Disorders, supporting receptive and expressive communication and functional communication strategies.
  • Knowledge of Dysphagia assessment and management in children, including safe swallowing practices and caregiver training.
  • Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, with appropriate professional registration/licensure as required by local regulations.
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings, with comfort in play-based, family-centered therapy models.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage a part-time caseload, and adhere to ethical and evidence-based practice standards.
