Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Chennai. The responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various communication and speech disorders. The role involves developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with caregivers and the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients. The Speech Language Pathologist will also provide education and guidance to families to promote continued improvement beyond therapy sessions.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Speech Therapy and assessing Speech disorders
  • Knowledge of treating Dysphagia and other swallowing difficulties
  • Skilled in diagnosing and managing Communication Disorders
  • Experience with Language Disorders and providing effective interventions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with patients, caregivers, and team members
  • Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology and certification from a recognized body
  • Experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is advantageous
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with communication challenges
