Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Bengaluru. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in children, using evidence-based practices and individualized therapy plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed evaluations, designing and implementing therapy sessions, and monitoring progress through regular documentation and outcome tracking. The role involves collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care, as well as providing education and guidance to families on home-based strategies and follow-up. The Speech Language Pathologist will also contribute to program development, maintain clinical records, and participate in case discussions and professional development activities.
Qualifications
  • Clinical expertise in Speech Therapy and management of Speech and Communication Disorders.
  • Knowledge and experience in assessing and treating Language Disorders across age groups in children.
  • Ability to evaluate and manage Dysphagia and related feeding or swallowing difficulties in pediatric populations.
  • Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology/Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Relevant licensure or registration as required by local regulatory bodies.
  • Strong observational, diagnostic, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
  • Comfort working in a multidisciplinary pediatric setting and collaborating with families and caregivers.
  • Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in pediatric speech and language therapy is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated early-career professionals.
