Role overview:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Special Educator to join our Student Support Services team. The role involves designing and delivering individualized educational programs for students with diverse learning needs, working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and counsellors to create an inclusive school community.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess students with learning differences (dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum, etc.) and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver pull-out and in-class support sessions tailored to each student's learning profile
  • Collaborate with subject teachers to adapt curriculum, materials, and assessments for diverse learners
  • Maintain detailed progress records and share regular updates with parents, housemasters, and the counselling team
  • Coordinate with external therapists (OT, speech, psychologists) as needed
  • Facilitate teacher training and awareness workshops on inclusive practices
  • Support students social-emotional development within the residential setting
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and relevant child protection guidelines

Qualifications & experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (RCI registration preferred)
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience working with children with special needs (school setting preferred)
  • Proficiency in conducting psycho-educational assessments and writing IEPs
  • Familiarity with IB/IGCSE access arrangements is an added advantage
  • Strong communication skills in English; ability to collaborate across departments
  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to inclusive education
