Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Space Science Educator based in Dwarka. Responsibilities include delivering interactive science and astronomy lessons, planning and conducting engaging educational workshops, seminars, and demonstrations for schools and organizations. The educator will develop lesson plans, simplify complex science concepts for diverse audiences, and participate in creating and refining space science curriculum materials. Additional tasks involve collaborating with the curriculum development team, using teaching aids such as telescopes, and fostering scientific curiosity and interest in astronomy and space science among students.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Science Education, Physics, and Mathematics
- Proven experience as a Qualified Teacher with a background in Lesson Planning
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging diverse audiences
- Passion for astronomy and space science education
- Adaptability for working with students of different age groups and educational backgrounds
- Experience using teaching aids, such as telescopes, is an advantage
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Science, Education, Astronomy, Physics, or related fields
