Job Description

About Ecoright

Ecoright is a design-led sustainable lifestyle brand, built in India for a global market. We make sustainability desirable — quirky, fashion-forward, and never preachy.

The Role

We're looking for a sourcing manager who knows the ground — factories, vendors, trims, and timelines. Someone who has sat across a supplier, negotiated hard, and still got the sample out on time. You'll own end-to-end sourcing across accessories and textiles, work closely with the design and product teams, and make sure what's on paper actually gets made.

What You'll Do

Vendor Development & Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors across accessories and textiles
  • Build and maintain a reliable vendor base — domestic and where relevant, international
  • Conduct factory visits, audits, and performance reviews

Buying & Procurement

  • Execute seasonal and ongoing buying in line with product plans and budgets
  • Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms
  • Raise POs, track confirmations, and manage order books

Product Development Support

  • Work with the design team from brief to bulk — trims, materials, construction
  • Source and manage sampling for new product launches
  • Maintain tech packs, material libraries, and approved vendor lists

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure materials and products meet brand quality standards
  • Coordinate pre-production and inline checks with QC teams
  • Flag and resolve quality issues before they hit production

Operations & Planning

  • Track delivery timelines and proactively manage delays
  • Maintain sourcing trackers, cost sheets, and vendor databases
  • Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance teams

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years of sourcing experience in fashion, accessories, or lifestyle products
  • Hands-on accessories sourcing experience — bags, hardware, trims, packaging
  • Textile sourcing experience — fabrics, print, embroidery, surface treatments
  • Buying experience — you've owned a buy, not just supported one
  • Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management
  • Detail-oriented with solid follow-through on timelines and deliverables
  • Comfortable working across multiple categories simultaneously

What You Get

  • Ownership of the full sourcing function — not just execution support
  • Work across multiple product categories as the brand grows
  • A role that shapes the product, not just sources it
