Job Role and Responsibilities:
Design Creation:
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks for products including power generators, portable generators, marine equipment, agricultural machinery, solar solutions, and control panels.
- Ensure designs are accurate, manufacturable, and aligned with industry standards and client specifications.
Engineering Support:
- Collaborate with engineers to create innovative designs for equipment used in fabrication, rental solutions, and mobile light towers.
- Assist in the engineering and customization of products to meet diverse industry needs.
Design Optimization:
- Modify existing designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and enhanced performance.
- Ensure that designs integrate seamlessly with control panels, IT solutions, and solar systems.
Key Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks (3D modeling and 2D drafting).
- Familiarity with GD&T and design principles for diverse equipment.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, including welding, sheet metal, and machining.
- Experience with equipment design for industries like agriculture, marine, and renewable energy is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt designs for custom requirements.
- Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing equipment for power generation, fabrication, and control systems.
