Summary

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking two Solder MaterialsSales Managers, one for NCR, and the other for South India, who will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, making a direct impact on our success. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies and building strong customer relationships. The Sales Manager reports directly to the Managing Director of PAI-AIM Solder (India).

Responsabilities

The Sales Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Establishing and meeting sales and profit targets for the specified region.
  • Maintaining profitable, market-dictated pricing.
  • Making a sufficient number of direct sales calls and sales to obtain desired growth in the region.
  • Selling the Company's complete product line to the industry.
  • Working with and improving the distribution network.
  • Providing feedback to PAI-AIM Solder management on ways to improve the company's sales and profit performance.
  • Preparing work reports and forecasts as required.
  • Coordinating sales opportunities with appropriate PAI-AIM Solder personnel such as technical support engineers, executives, reps, and distributors.
  • Reporting activity pertaining to identified strategic accounts on a timely basis.
  • Defining and providing product requirements to the technical department.
  • Working with technical support personnel to evaluate materials and provide technical assistance and troubleshooting of products and processes.
  • Identifying new applications and opportunities for existing products.
  • Preparing expense reports in a timely fashion.
  • Performing training presentations on current and new technologies to customers, distributors, and representatives.
  • Interacting with customer service, credit and quality assurance departments as necessary.
  • Attending company sales meetings and industry trade shows.
  • Following all PAI-AIM Solder guidelines, policies, and rules, as well as all local and national laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, as well as Hindi & local language.
  • Bachelor's degree in business-Marketing, Post-Graduate Diploma/Degree (PGD) or Post-Graduate Degree (PGDip) in Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in the solder industry or in the consumable material for the electronics industry, otherwise in the electronics industry.
  • Proven communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Passion for sales, motivated by results.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently as needed. At least 50% of the time will be spent travelling in the territory.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Energetic, team player, and positive attitude.
