Role Overview
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design, develop, and maintain fintech applications. You will gain hands-on experience building scalable systems, integrating APIs, and contributing to production-grade applications.
This is apaid, remote, 6-month internshipwith the opportunity to convert into afull-time role based on performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining fintech applications
- Work on frontend, backend, or full-stack development based on project requirements
- Integrate APIs, third-party services, and financial infrastructure components
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Participate in feature planning, development, and deployment
- Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers
- Contribute to technical documentation and internal tools
- Stay updated with latest fintech and software development trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
- Basic knowledge of one or more programming languages:
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Python
- Java / Go / Node.js (any is a plus)
- Familiarity with:
- React / Next.js / Frontend frameworks (Preferred)
- Backend frameworks (Node.js, Django, FastAPI, etc.)
- REST APIs and API integrations
- Git and version control
- Understanding of databases (SQL / NoSQL)
- Interest in fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure (preferred)
Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)
- Experience working on personal or academic projects
- Understanding of fintech, payments, or banking infrastructure
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of security best practices
- Experience with AI tools or automation
