Role Overview:
This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about building real-world, high-traffic consumer web applications. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience across front-end and back-end development, work with experienced developers and founders, and contribute to a live product used by real users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing, maintaining, and improving consumer-facing web application features.
- Support bug fixes, implement new features, and carry out end-to-end application testing.
- Collaborate daily with senior developers and founders, attending team stand-ups and coordinating development tasks to stay on schedule.
- Participate in code reviews and provide/receive constructive feedback.
- Help document processes and update project management tools.
Learning Outcomes:
- Exposure to real-world coding practices, agile/scrum teamwork, and modern web/application stacks.
- Mentorship from experienced developers, with progressive involvement in both UI and backend.
- A solid portfolio of completed features and resolved bugs for your resume.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with core technologies: JavaScript, React, Typescript, Python, etc.
- Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and use of source control (Git).
- Understanding of cloud technologies, security and networking layers, containerization.
- Good communication skills and willingness to adapt and learn.
Stipend:
- The internship is unpaid for the first month.
- Upon satisfactory completion of one month, a stipend will be provided based on performance and project needs.
