Team Introduction
There Are 3 Products Running On Premises In Mobile Operators Data Centers And In The Cloud, With Tens Of Installations All Over The World
- Product 1: Handling mobile calls, forwarding or rejecting, charging them.
- Product 2: Handling mobile data sessions, doing protocol conversion, session correlation, hiding network topology.
- Product 3: Sending notifications to subscribers via SMS, email, push and other protocol, based on incoming requests, remote servers availability.
All these products are designed for network intensive communication, are based on event driven application server and handle tens of thousands operations per second.
- Design and develop new features in the products above like: adopting new protocol to notification related product, implement the new flow for mobile data sessions related product.
- Fix performance issues that happen in Production: localize and reproduce on local env, troubleshoot and fix.
- Maintain regression set of tests: minimize test execution time, make test results stable.
All you need is...
Must Have
- 9-15 years of experience in Java development, focusing on: Java: Multithreading, Network.
- Experience in performance tuning and finding bottlenecks.
- Deep knowledge how to develop high load applications with intensive network communication.
- Awareness of network OSI model.
- Experience in Relational databases, how indexes work, SQL performance tuning.
- Good knowledge of Linux and how HW resources (CPU, network, storage) are used by Linux.
Would Be a Great Advantage
- Knowledge why and how to use tcpdump, thread dump, heap dump, Java class histogram.
- Knowledge of C/C++: multithreading, network.
- Knowledge of telecom domain (GSM, LTE, 4G, 5G), network architecture (including SGW, PGW, GGSN, MME, PCRF, OCS, Charging System) and hands-on experience on protocol : Diameter (Gx, Rx, Gy, Sy), TCAP, CAP, MAP.
- Knowledge of protocol stacks like Diameter, SMTP, SMPP, IMAP/POP3.
- Knowledge of JAIN SLEE spec.
- Understating of Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI).
