Software Development Architect - Java, Microservices and Cloud

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Architect with expertise in Java, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the target state of the product architecture, developing high-level designs, and owning the technical and architectural decisions for projects.

Role & Responsibilities

• Be responsible for establishing, maintaining, socializing, and realizing the target state of the Product Architecture.
• Build high-level designs and low-level technical solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Own the technical and architectural decisions for projects and products.
• Review designs and ensure a robust code/implementation review practice is in place.
• Be responsible for robust CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering pipelines.
• Provide ongoing support for design and architecture problems to delivery teams.
• Manage the technical debt log and plan for its remediation across deliveries and roadmaps.

Skills Required

• Experience with Java or Python application development frameworks like Spring Boot, and common AWS/other cloud provider services.
• Experience in architecture design for multiple products and large-scale change programs.
• Adept with application development and engineering methods and tools.
• Robust experience with microservices applications and services development and integration.
• Experience in modeling for APIs, Messages, and data.
• Experience with complex migrations, including data migration.
• Experience with technologies like Kafka, Spark streams, Kubernetes/EKS, API Gateways, Web & Application servers, message queuing infrastructure, and data transformation/ETL tools.
• Experience with engineering methods like CI/CD, build/deploy automation, Infrastructure as Code, and unit/integration testing.
• Experience in migrating monolithic applications to a cloud-based solution.
• Experience in designing cloud-native architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) on platforms like GCP/AWS.
