At Lantern Digital, we help brands grow through strategy, creativity, and performance-driven digital marketing. We're not looking for someone who just posts content. We're looking for a Social Media Strategist who understands why something should be posted, who it's for, and what result it should drive.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Social Media Strategist with 12 years of hands-on experience who can plan, execute, and optimize social media strategies across platforms. You'll be responsible for turning business goals into content strategies that actually perform not just look good.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute platform-specific social media strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
  • Plan monthly content calendars based on audience insights, trends, and performance data.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and performance teams to create high-impact content.
  • Manage and optimize brand presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and others as required.
  • Track and analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, growth, conversions) and derive actionable insights.
  • Stay updated with platform algorithms, trends, formats, and best practices.
  • Assist in planning and executing campaigns, launches, and promotions on social media.
  • Support community management by monitoring comments, DMs, and brand mentions (as required).
  • Prepare performance reports and clearly communicate what's working and what's not.

What the Role Entails
  • Working closely with the marketing and creative teams to ensure strategy and execution are aligned.
  • Balancing creativity with data ideas must be backed by logic and results.
  • Handling multiple brands or projects without dropping quality or deadlines.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in social media strategy or management (agency experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience targeting, and platform analytics.
  • Experience with tools like Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of paid social campaigns is a bonus (not mandatory).
  • Excellent communication skills, you should be able to explain strategy clearly, not just execute tasks.
  • Strong time management and ownership mindset.
  • A genuine interest in social media trends, content formats, and digital culture.
