We are looking for a Social Media Strategist who can actively support and execute social media across platforms in a fast-paced agency environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and strategic Social Media Strategist to lead and manage the end-to-end social media function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing social media strategies, developing engaging content calendars, and driving innovative campaign ideas aligned with brand goals.

This role requires someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has a strong understanding of content creation, social trends, and platform performance.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives.
  • Manage the end-to-end social media department, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
  • Own platform growth, engagement, and performance metrics.
  • Stay updated with platform trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

Content Planning & Creation

  • Create and manage monthly and quarterly social media content calendars.
  • Conceptualize and pitch innovative campaign ideas and social-first concepts.
  • Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to produce high-quality content.
  • Ensure brand tone, voice, and visual consistency across channels.

Campaign & Execution

  • Plan and execute campaigns from ideation to reporting.
  • Drive engagement through creative formats including reels, carousels, stories, and trend-based content.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors/agencies when required.
  • Copy & Content Understanding
  • Possess a basic understanding of copywriting principles.
  • Review and refine captions, hooks, and messaging to ensure clarity and engagement.
  • Support content ideation with storytelling and audience-focused messaging.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 35 years of experience in social media management or strategy roles.
  • Prior agency experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of major platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.).
  • Proven experience creating and managing content calendars.
  • Ability to pitch creative ideas and campaign concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of copywriting and brand communication.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Track, analyze, and report social media performance metrics.
  • Provide actionable insights and optimization strategies based on data.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry benchmarks.
