Baghiraa, founded in 2017, is a purpose-driven company committed to sustainability, innovation, and community. Headquartered in Atlanta with operations in Bangalore and skeletal offices in Broomfield and The Hague. We are in the process of opening an office in Tallinn, Estonia. We operate across three dynamic subsidiaries: Sanrachna Steel, Baghiraa Caf & CoWork, and Baghiraa Earth Labs.
Sanrachna Steel is a value-driven design firm specializing in high-quality steel detailing for commercial and industrial projects, with over 450 successful builds in the U.S. and a focus on sustainable practices in engineering and design.
Baghiraa Caf & CoWork is a minimal waste caf and co-working facility in Bangalore, India that is over 90% plastic free. Our caf offers vegan/vegetarian, farm-to-table meals that align with our commitment to earth-conscious living.
Baghiraa Earth Labs is our vehicle for change. Creating and sharing knowledge is at the core of our mission. We are currently developing sites in Atlanta and Colorado that follow Earth ship principles, using recycled materials to build spaces that include a co-working space and caf for the community, an outdoor multi-use kitchen, residential quarters for employees, and a garden that also serves as a habitat for various farm animals. These locations will also function as educational resource centres focused on the use of recycled materials and will provide access to those materials for the broader community.

JOB TITLE - SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Social Media Specialist to support our marketing department. The role requires to understand the company's marketing strategy and curate a plan to publish content on social media platforms. It is essential to have exceptional attention to detail, creativity, discretion, and the ability to manage a dynamic and fast-paced workload. This position is ideal for professionals with strong organizational and communication skills, learn, and grow into a broader business or leadership role over time.
Requirements
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and execute social media strategies to meet marketing goals and boost brand visibility
- Produce engaging text, image, and video content for various social media platforms
- Respond to comments and messages to foster a sense of community and manage customer interactions
- Keep up with the latest trends, platform updates, and competitor activities
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to maintain consistent brand messaging
- Schedule and post content and monitor all social media channels for comments and messages
- Track social media analytics to measure the success of campaigns and inform future strategy
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field
- Previous experience in social media accounts and content calendars
- Proficiency in social media platforms, content creation tools and analytics
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM is essential
- Strong communication, creativity, adaptability and analytical skills are crucial
Benefits
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Location: Based in Bangalore, India
- Working hours: 1200 to 2100 hours (IST). Evening and weekend availability is required depending on workload and time zone coordination
- Compensation: Based on experience and performance
- Contract Type: Independent contractor with the possibility of transitioning to full time employment after 6 months
