Role Overview

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the company's social media presence across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn. The role focuses on content publishing, competitor analysis, SEO research, trend identification, and performance tracking to support the organization's digital growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload and schedule content on YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Ensure all posts follow brand guidelines, tone, and content strategy.
  • Conduct SEO research to identify relevant keywords for social media posts, video titles, descriptions, and hashtags.
  • Optimize content on YouTube, Instagram, and LinkedIn to improve discoverability, reach, and engagement.
  • Apply best practices for YouTube SEO, including tags, thumbnails, metadata, and keyword placement.

Competitor Analysis

  • Monitor competitors social media activities and strategies.
  • Identify successful formats, topics, hashtags, and campaigns used by competitors.
  • Prepare periodic reports highlighting insights and opportunities for improvement.

Trend Analysis

  • Identify emerging social media trends, viral formats, and industry-relevant topics.
  • Suggest content ideas and strategies based on trending topics and audience behavior.

Ensure the company stays relevant in social media conversations.

Coordinate with the content and design teams to ensure timely publishing of posts, reels, videos, and updates.

Performance Monitoring & Growth Tracking

  • Track and monitor the growth of social media channels including followers, engagement rates, reach, and impressions.
  • Analyze performance metrics of posts and campaigns.
  • Prepare weekly or monthly reports on social media growth and content performance.

Content Optimization & Improvement

  • Use data insights to continuously improve content strategy and posting schedules.
  • Suggest improvements for better engagement, reach, and audience interaction.

Paid Promotion & Post Boosting

  • Plan and execute boosted posts and paid promotions on platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube when required.
  • Select appropriate target audiences, budgets, and campaign objectives for boosting posts.
  • Monitor performance of boosted campaigns and optimize them for better reach and engagement.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Knowledge of SEO for social media and YouTube optimization
  • Ability to conduct competitor and trend analysis
  • Basic understanding of analytics tools and social media insights
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Good organizational and communication abilities

Educational Qualification
