As a Social Media Intern, you'll support the team in creating, publishing, and optimizing content across platforms while staying on top of the latest social media trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
• Write engaging captions and copy that align with Pinkvilla's brand voice.
• Monitor trending topics, viral content, memes, and platform updates to identify content opportunities.
• Support the team in creating reels, stories, polls, and other engaging social-first content.
• Coordinate with editorial, video, and design teams to ensure timely content publishing.
• Track content performance and assist in preparing basic social media reports.
• Engage with audiences by monitoring comments, messages, and community interactions when required.
• Help maintain the content calendar and ensure timely execution of campaigns.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, digital content, entertainment, and lifestyle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Hindi is a plus).
• Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and emerging social media platforms.
• Basic understanding of social media trends, analytics, and platform best practices.
• Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
