Job Description

Job Overview :

We are looking for a Content & Social Media Lead to drive digital presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing and executing content across social media platforms, managing influencer and brand collaborations, overseeing team operations, and leading special projects, including onground activations and Nykaaland initiatives. The role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of Beauty, Fashion and Personal Care industry trends, engagement tactics, and performance-driven content creation.

Key Responsibilities :

Content & Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for social media platforms aligned with the brand's positioning.
  • Plan and implement launch communication strategies for new products.
  • Monitor content performance, analyze key metrics, and map business impact.
  • Align Brand Goals with Central Marketing team at Nykaa for consistent brand messaging.
  • Drive core product BAU strategy to enhance relevance and visibility. Set and achieve organic engagement KPIs and targets.
  • Maintain and analyze impression, engagement rate, reach, and subscriber data to ensure monthly and yearly targets are met.
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports, pitches, and reviews.
  • Identify and capitalize on Instagram trends to enhance brand presence.
  • Develop and execute brand IP campaigns to establish a unique brand identity.

Influencer Marketing:

  • Develop influencer strategy for new product launches.
  • Identify and onboard influencers aligned with brand messaging, budget, and negotiation parameters.
  • Collaborate with the NAPpers team for cost efficiency in influencer collaborations.
  • Provide creative direction for influencer content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
  • Conceptualize and execute BCA assets.
  • Map influencer reach and analyze campaign effectiveness.

Team Management:

  • Ensure team members take ownership of individual projects and responsibilities.
  • Foster smooth team operations and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all processes are followed, and work is executed in an organized manner.
  • Provide consistent and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to inspire innovation and drive creative content development.

Knowledge and Skill/Qualification Requirements :

  • Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in content strategy, social media management, and influencer marketing. Beauty, Fashion, Bath & Body or Perfumery industry experience is preferred but not mandatory. This role will have 3-4 direct reportees.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor, report, and optimize content performance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of social media trends, marketing funnel and audience engagement strategies.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute high-impact influencer campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
