Role Overview
The Social Media Manager will assist in client management, onboarding, daily coordination, and execution of social media tasks. The ideal candidate will have 34 years of experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to resolve issues promptly, and must be available to work during extended hours ( 6 PM to 11 PM IST), aligning with US and Canada time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management (US & Canada Time Zone)
- Manage and communicate with clients based in the US and Canada during overlapping evening hours.
- Address client queries, provide updates, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Participate in client calls and coordinate deliverables efficiently.
Client Onboarding & Issue Resolution
- Lead and manage the entire onboarding process for new clients.
- Collect all required information, brand guidelines, and assets.
- Resolve onboarding-related challenges to ensure a smooth and seamless experience.
Internal Coordination & Project Execution
- Work closely with internal teams such as design, content, video, and performance marketing to get tasks completed on time.
- Share client briefs, track progress, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Maintain workflow clarity, deadlines, and communication between teams.
Content Management Support
- Assist in planning and scheduling content across platforms.
- Review drafts to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Monitor daily social media activity and highlight important updates.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly client updates and maintain project documentation.
- Support in creating monthly analytics reports, tracking performance metrics, and gathering insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience in social media coordination, account management, or digital marketing.
- Strong communication skillswritten and verbal.
- Ability to manage clients in the US and Canada time zones.
- Comfortable working during 6 PM to 11 PM IST for client support.
- Experience coordinating with internal digital teams for content, design, and campaign execution.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with social media tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Later, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of social media trends and platform best practices.
- Prior experience in a digital agency is an advantage.
