Job Description

At Adwants, we are looking for a Social Media Manager who understands culture, human behaviour, and how brands can stay relevant in conversations that matter. This role is not just about posting content. It is about building narratives, driving engagement, and creating social experiences that people remember.

What you'll do:

• Own end-to-end social media management for assigned brands across platforms

• Build monthly and quarterly content strategies aligned with brand and business goals

• Work closely with creative, copy, design, video, performance, and client servicing teams to bring campaigns alive

• Translate insights, trends, and audience behaviour into strong social-first ideas

• Ensure brand tonality, storytelling, and consistency across all communication

• Plan content calendars, campaign rollouts, and real-time social opportunities

• Drive platform growth, engagement, reach, and community interaction organically and through collaborations

• Monitor trends, conversations, formats, and internet culture to keep brand communication relevant

• Present ideas, strategies, reports, and performance insights confidently to internal teams and clients

• Go beyond reporting by identifying what is working, what is not, and where action is needed

• Take ownership of timelines, approvals, publishing schedules, and campaign coordination

• Be proactive in identifying possible risks or gaps before they become escalations

• Coordinate with performance marketing teams to align content and media objectives

• Ensure all social media activities are executed with attention to detail and quality

• Act as a custodian for systems, processes, and workflow discipline within the team

• Manage multiple brands and priorities in a fast-moving agency environment

• Stay updated with platform updates, creator ecosystems, and evolving digital behaviour

What we are looking for:

• 3–5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in an advertising or digital agency

• Strong understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and emerging platforms

• Ability to think strategically while also being execution-focused

• Good understanding of content, storytelling, trends, reels, and community building

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Someone proactive, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership

• Ability to manage pressure, priorities, and fast turnaround timelines without compromising quality
