EssentiallySports is hiring a Social Media Associate to join its energetic and passionate US Sports team!
EssentiallySports is one of the leading sports entertainment digital media publications in the world, garnering 50M+ pageviews every month and continuing to grow rapidly. We're building content for the most passionate sports fans across NBA, NFL, Combat Sports, Golf, Olympics, NASCAR, and more.

Responsibilities
- Creating social media designs and creatives using Canva
- Basic Reel editing using video editing tools
- Publishing and managing social media posts across platforms
- Staying up to date with current trends across US Sports (NBA, NFL, Combat Sports, Golf, Olympics, NASCAR, etc.)
- Finding and curating high-quality reels, photos, memes, and visual assets for allocated pages
- Monitoring traffic, link clicks, and engagement metrics
- Tracking and reporting monetization performance for assigned pages
- Collaborating closely with the content team and social media stakeholders
- Analyzing post-level and page-level performance to improve reach and engagement
- Subscribing to and following relevant sports pages, creators, and leagues
Requirements
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools is a strong advantage
- Basic understanding of reels, short-form video, and editing tools
- Understanding of how social media algorithms work
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language
- Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.)
- Strong interest in US Sports
