Remuneration:Upto Rs.40,000/- per month, based on experience.

National Skills Foundation of India (NSFI) is a 15 year old not-for-profit organization focused on the objective of skill building and development of vocational opportunities for India's large workforce. NSFI is realizing its mission towards enabling sustainable livelihoods through trainings of unskilled/ semi-skilled workers, rural youth, farmers, and women entrepreneurs and action research in the domains of agriculture supply & value chains, markets, and skills, and through across the nation with the objective of providing them access to growth sectors in formal labour markets. NSFI (net)works with national and international agencies in Public Sector, and Civil Society Domains.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media Associate to manage our online presence and engage with our target audience through creative and effective social media strategies. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, a strong understanding of various digital platforms, and the ability to analyze and optimize content performance to achieve communication and impact goals. NSFI works with rural entrepreneurs in the farm and non-farm sectors. The Social Media Associate will also support these entrepreneurs by helping them accelerate their businesses through digital marketing initiatives, including developing social media handles to enhance their visibility and growth.

Key Responsibilities1. Content Creation and Curation

Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies aligned with organizational objectives.

Design, create, and schedule content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other platforms to enhance reach, showcase impact, and strengthen engagement with donors and stakeholders.

Write compelling captions, descriptions, and relevant hashtags to maximize engagement.

Collaborate with internal teams and experts to produce high-quality visual and written content.

Repurpose content across platforms to maintain consistency and reach.

2. Social Media Management & Stakeholder Support

Manage daily posting, community engagement, and responses across social media channels.

Monitor online conversations, respond to queries, and nurture community interactions.

Maintain a structured content calendar for consistent communication.

Support project beneficiaries and field teams in managing their social media pages and using digital tools effectively.

3. Campaign Planning and Execution

Plan and execute campaigns around impact stories, advocacy, partnerships, and entrepreneurship promotion.

Coordinate with marketing and field teams to align content with enterprise growth objectives.

Use paid advertising tools such as Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads to amplify campaign reach.

Collaborate with influencers or community advocates to enhance visibility.

Organize interactive engagement activities such as giveaways, contests, polls, etc.

4. Analytics, Reporting, and Trend Insights

Track and analyze performance metrics including engagement, reach, impressions, and conversions.

Prepare detailed performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Monitor competitor activity and emerging trends to optimize content strategy.

Experiment with new formats such as Stories, Reels, and platform updates.

5. Compliance and Branding

Ensure all content adheres to NSFI brand guidelines and tone of voice.

Follow copyright rules, content use permissions, and platform compliance policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

2-3 years experience as a Social Media Associate or similar role, ideally in the development/social sector.

Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics.

Strong understanding of social media platforms and audience behaviour.

Creative writing, storytelling, and visual communication skills.

Working knowledge of Canva or design tools like Photoshop/Illustrator is an advantage.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.

Growth in followers across platforms.

High engagement rates (likes, comments, shares).

Timely execution of planned campaigns.

Positive audience sentiment and feedback.

Increased entrepreneurs earnings by enabling them to effectively use digital platforms.
