We are seeking a Sr Snowflake Developer with 4+ years of experience to join our team in India.As a Sr Snowflake Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing scalable data solutions using the Snowflake platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop efficient data pipelines, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the lifecycle.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role
- Hands on experience on Migration of Onpremises to Snowflake.
- Expertise in core data engineering concepts, including Streams, Snow pipe, ETL, SQL, and DBT.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, SnowSQL, and advanced ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable data solutions using Snowflake, focusing on data warehousing, modelling, and pipeline automation. Incremental logic
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and loading, leveraging Snow pipe for continuous, automated data ingestion from cloud storage.
- Write advanced SQL and SnowSQL queries for extracting, transforming, and loading data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
- Implement and manage dbt (data build tool) for data transformation, orchestration, and documentation within Snowflake environments.
- Create and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test data for Snowflake-based workflows.
- Monitor and validate data ingestion from multiple source systems to Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes, including Snow pipe for automated data ingestion.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-native data integration.
- Contribute to the improvement of data testing standards, processes, and best practices.
