Site Reliability Engineer 2 - Database

Key deliverables:

1. Provision and manage multimaster MySQL/Galera clusters across geographies
2. Ensure performance, availability, and security of large-scale MySQL databases
3. Handle upgrades, backups, recovery, and database change management
4. Monitor and optimize database infrastructure for high reliability and scalability

Role responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot stack-wide issues including hardware, OS, DB, and networking
2. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to on-call support
3. Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain database reliability
4. Manage database infrastructure and augment system capacity as needed
