Site Reliability Engineer 2 - Database

Key deliverables:

1. Provision and maintain large-scale MySQL/Galera clusters across multiple geographies.
2. Ensure high availability, security, and performance of MySQL databases.
3. Automate backups, upgrades, and resource provisioning.
4. Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and database stack issues.

Role responsibilities:

1. Administer large farms of multi-master MySQL clusters with 1TB+ databases.
2. Optimize MySQL configuration and handle DDL operations efficiently.
3. Collaborate on infrastructure reliability and participate in on-call rotations.
4. Guide junior engineers and contribute to best practices for database systems.
